Connors Farm was founded in 1904 by the Connors family, who had been following generations of farmers working on the land for over 300 years.

The place began as a "truck farm," where all the crops grown were trucked to Boston for wholesale. At the time, they only had certain root crops like parsnips and carrots. It wasn't until the mid 1950s that sweet corn became the major wholesale crop.

Today, you'll find tons of attractions down on the farm. From pick-your-own produce to the Putnamville Railroad, there are plenty of ways to have fun here.

Winding Corn Maze by Day

However, we highly recommend checking out the Corn Maze. This 7-acre maze may seem a bit challenging, but we think you're up to the task.

Then, once you've made your way out, you can celebrate by visiting one of the several eateries on the property. There's Connors Country Kitchen, with some tasty drinks and pastries. There's also Pappy's Smokehouse, with mouth-watering ribs, brisket, and pulled pork.

Of course, you can't come to Connors without making a pit-stop at The Corn Crib. Munch on some roasted corn on the cob or nibble on some sweet kettle corn. With either option, you'll want to wash it down with some freshly squeezed lemonade.

Haunted Route by Night

You may decide to indulge in some heart-racing fun. In that case, you can always visit around Halloween for Hysteria at Connors Farm.

As the day turns into night, that's when the thrills begin. For a little over 30 minutes, you'll walk along a trail found inside a horror-filled forest. What's even more interesting is that the forest is found along the banks of a swamp and around a historic 17^th century burial ground.

This is not your average haunted attraction, as you'll soon discover. If you prefer, though, you could always opt to do the Flash Maze. You'll walk through the same corn field mentioned before. This time, though, you'll use your flashlights or the moon as your guide.
