For the past 10 years, Subaru of America and its retailers have partnered with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) through the Subaru Loves to Care initiative. The partnership has involved delivering blankets, patient care kits, and messages of hope to cancer patients across the country. On June 20th, Ira Subaru personally delivered these items to Mass General Cancer Center in Danvers. These blankets, patient care kits, and messages of hope provide warmth and comfort to cancer patients during treatment. Arbor Day - Brand Loyalty - Subaru Loves the Earth - Philip S
I am a loyal IRA Subaru customer for 20 years. I recently participated in IRA's celebration of Arbor Day and picked up my tree from the Danvers dealership to plant in my backyard. IRA has done a great job of embodying the Subaru brand image that supports everything from an active lifestyle to supporting the community. Everyone from the sales managers to the sales staff are a pleasure to work with and take the pressure off of purchasing and owning my Subarus. The Subaru love promise campaign is a great example of the caring culture of the IRA dealership and one that I truly appreciate and support. It is a consistent reminder that Subaru sales is more than a transaction and the dealership puts a premium on its customers and giving back to the community. Thanks IRA!

Celebrating $1.5M Raised to Make Wishes Come True - Peg W
Over the past 13 years, Make-A-Wish has been both honored and grateful to partner with our Subaru of New England Retailers as one of the four national charity partners of the Share the Love campaign. We are thrilled to share that following this year’s results, the combined support of our local Massachusetts and Rhode Island retailers has just surpassed $1.5 Million for Make-A-Wish Massachusetts and Rhode Island! It is proven that wishes can have a positive impact on the medical outcomes of children facing critical illnesses. A wish experience can improve a child’s quality of life and emotional well-being, while also strengthening families. A wish enables a child to imagine a future that is bright and provides motivation and hope when they need it most. The transformative impact of a wish cannot be overstated, and we depend on the generosity of partners like you to move closer to our vision of granting the wish of every eligible child in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Your support benefits not only a local child and family, but their community as well, reminding every one of us that we are capable of uplifting one another. Thank you, Ira Subaru, for your compassionate partnership in bringing hope and joy to local kids with critical illnesses.
Ira Subaru supports and builds with Essex County Habitat for Humanity - Sally H
On Tuesday, May 7, leaders from Ira Subaru of Danvers and Subaru New England joined Essex County Habitat for Humanity at their construction site in Hamilton to present a check for $40,000. The donation is a combined contribution from Ira Subaru of Danvers, their amazing customers and Subaru of America as part of the Subaru Share the Love Event Initiative. Meegan O’Neil, Executive Director of Essex County Habitat for Humanity accepted the donation saying, “It will help us build 10 homes here [in Hamilton] and for that we are very grateful,” adding “I’m a proud Subaru driver myself and it is donations like this that make me even happier to be driving a Subaru.” After the presentation, 18 Subaru staff members donned hard hats and got to work helping to install deck stairs on one and sheathing on another of the homes being built in the development, which, when complete, will house 10 families in need of affordable housing. Working alongside the Subaru employees were two of the future Habitat homeowners, Yaddira and Deanna. Yaddira is a single mother of two and a marine veteran. Deanna recently also became a single mom of three children and works in the medical field. Two additional future homeowners have also been selected and are also single mothers. Lauren, works two jobs to support her family and Andrea, who is trying to survive on an entry level teacher salary. Families selected by lottery for Habitat homes invest their own time and labor into the homes as sweat equity, in addition to paying an affordable mortgage and receiving a first-time homeowner education. Having safe and affordable housing will provide a more stable future and contribute to these families’ strength and self-reliance.
