Ever since she was a child, Lauren has enjoyed cooking. During her time at the University of Delaware, she developed her love of baking. She spent many hours whipping up cakes, cookies, and other delicious baked goods, and in the summer months, she worked in restaurants throughout Nantucket.
In 2008, Lauren enrolled in Boston University's culinary certificate program. During her time at the university, she studied under Jacques Pepin and many other top chefs in the area.
After graduating from her culinary program, Lauren worked as the executive pastry chef in a variety of local restaurants. She later fulfilled her dream of opening her own restaurant, and she now owns and operates Honeycomb in Hamilton.
